Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom‘s separation was confirmed in an official statement after months of speculation that there was trouble in their marriage. The couple got married in July 2010, and have a 2-year-old son, Flynn.

Miranda and Orlando’s rep confirmed their split.
“In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months,” the rep told E!. “After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation.”
The statement continued, “Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.”
The Victoria’s Secret beauty and British actor, 30, were last photographed together on Oct. 8. Their last public appearance was at the opening of Romeo and Juliet in NYC on Sept. 19, since Bloom is starring as Romeo in the play.
Miranda is often photographed out and about with Flynn, but Orlando has been noticeably absent from photos with his wife and son in recent months.
Orlando, 33, and Miranda allegedly began dating in June of 2007, but first stepped out as a couple in April 2008.
They got engaged on June 10, 2010, and announced their marriage just one month later. Miranda confirmed that they were married in a private ceremony on July 22, 2010.
Their adorable son, Flynn, was born on Jan. 6, 2011.
