Marshall Mathers AKA Eminem is from Detroit, Michigan, so obviously his people and the people of ESPN saw a perfect opportunity to get together and let him promote his new music video, “Berzerk,” during the Michigan-Notre Dame college football game. Only it didn’t quite go as smoothly as anyone hoped.
While ESPN broadcasters Brent Musberger and Kirk Herbstreit introduced Marshall Mathers , he just stared aimlessly into the distance. What was he looking at that had him so tranced out i wonder.
Later on surprisingly, the interview only got more awkward from there! After they showed a clip of the new “Berzerk” music video, Eminem explained his odd behavior: “Sorry. Live TV. Live TV freaks me out a little bit.” Which is sort of strange considering Eminem has been a superstar for about 15 years now.
Marshall let go of his nerves much later and told Brent that he was a legendary sports broadcaster. Nice. But when Brent responded by saying, “You, my friend, are the legend,” it put us right back where we started.
“I’m really uncomfortable right now,” Eminem bluntly stated.
What in GOD’S name was happening to eminem there ??? hmmmm
